Responsibilities

• organization and coordination of various services and subcontractors involved on the construction site
• ensuring the timely completion of each project in accordance with contractual obligations and in compliance with legal regulations regarding safety, quality and environmental protection
• personnel management – recording working hours, keeping documentation (inspections, permits, VCA certificate, etc.)
• solving technical problems and, if necessary, managing employees and subcontractors
• ensuring the provision of the necessary equipment (plates, pipes, etc.)
• acting as an intermediary between the client, employees and subcontractors on the project site and collaborators
• maintaining constant contact with the project manager
• reporting progress – both within the company and as well as to customers
• work not only in Belgium, but also abroad (mainly the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France)

In-demand competencies

• technical education in mechanics/electromechanics/civil engineering
• min. 3 years of professional experience in a similar position (metal industry, construction industry, etc.)
• good knowledge of English
• VCA-Vol certificate or readiness to obtain it
• readiness to work in various locations (also abroad)
• B driving license
