Responsibilities

• conduct routine dock inspections to identify maintenance needs

• perform cleaning tasks including but not limited to degreasing, rust removal and general surface cleaning
• iny perform routine painting tasks to maintain the appearance and protective coatings of dock structures< /li>
• help organize and maintain tools, equipment and materials used in maintenance work

•  work from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Fridays 8:00-14:30

Wanted competences

• several years of experience in the maritime sector
• knowledge of English at B2-C1 level
• prepare for physical work outdoors in all weather conditions
• technical sense and the ability to recognize faults.
• flexibility (possibility to work in the evenings or on weekends)
• driving license category B – preferred

we offer

• employment on Belgian conditions
• rate of €15 gross/h
• salary paid monthly
• guaranteed 38 hours of work per week
• possibility of overtime – on average 7-12 hours a week, paid 150%
• holiday allowance – 15.38% of gross annual earnings, i.e. approx. €4,610 gross
• annual bonus – 8.33% of annual gross earnings – provided that you work a minimum of 65 days in the period from July this year to June the following year, i.e. approx. €2,600 gross
