Responsibilities

• team management during ship docking
• coordinating the arrangement of docks based on received diagrams (correct location and height)
• dry dock maintenance (e.g. anchor chain inspection)
• performing additional logistics tasks, such as operating an overhead crane and forklift, as well as (dis)assembling the drive line
• helping colleagues while lifting ships
• once docked, work with docking technicians on all aspects related to the exterior of the ship

• work from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Wanted competences

• technical education
• several years of experience in a similar position (in the maritime sector)
• knowledge of English at B2-C1 level
• readiness for hard, physical work (working with large materials, e.g. 2-ton propellers)
• ready to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• flexibility (possibility to work in the evenings or on weekends)
• Category B driving license – preferred

• rate €17-€20/h 
• salary paid monthly
• guaranteed 38 hours of work per week
• possibility of overtime – on average 7-12 hours a week, paid 150%
• holiday allowance – 15.38% of gross annual earnings
• annual bonus – 8.33% of annual gross earnings – provided that you work a minimum of 65 days in the period from July this year to June the following year
