Scope of responsibilities

• Diagnosis and repair of electrical and mechanical faults in machines
• Performing ongoing and preventive technical inspections
• Support in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Maintaining service documentation and reporting failures
• Operating an electric pallet truck (EPT)
• Working in a refrigerated/freezer environment (-18°C / +8°C)
• Compliance with occupational health and safety procedures and cold chain work rules
• Primarily morning and afternoon shifts (random shift system, occasional night shifts)

Sought-after competences

• Experience in electromechanics or maintenance
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (including basic pneumatics)
• Ability to work in a team and under time pressure
• Willingness to work in refrigeration environments
• Communication skills, responsibility, and reliability
• Knowledge of English at least at a communicative level
• Category B driving license and car – preferred

We offer

• Employment under Belgian conditions
• Salary: €19.50 – €27 gross/hour
• Shift allowance: 7.5% for morning/afternoon shifts (additional €2/hour for night shifts)
• Overtime work possible – paid at 150%
• Estimated weekly salary before accommodation deductions: €550 – €765 net
• Holiday allowance – 15.38% of gross annual earnings
• Bonus Annual – 8.33% of gross annual earnings – provided you work at least 65 days between July of the current year and June of the following year.
  Food vouchers in the amount of €8 gross per day.
  Option to use company accommodation: double room – €130 / week, single room – €160
• Option to purchase additional health insurance – €11 per month
• Sick leave bonus: €100 gross
• Hospital insurance with a permanent contract
• Protective clothing provided for working in cold conditions

• Company cars are provided free of charge and come with a fuel card
