Job description:

• Working in warehouses storing chemical products in the form of liquids, powders, and granulates
• Relocating, loading, and unloading goods (mainly outside the warehouse) and operating silo installations
• Operating a counterbalance forklift (heftruck)
• Working both inside and outside the warehouse, including working at heights (e.g. on platforms above trucks)
• Monitoring and checking products, orders, and inventory levels
• Occasionally lifting damaged boxes (up to 25 kg) and replacing them with new ones
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the warehouse area
• Strictly following health and safety regulations
• Working in a fast-paced and demanding environment under time pressure
• Working in a two-shift system:
  • 06:00–14:00
  • 14:00–22:00

• Employment under Belgian conditions
• Guaranteed 38 hours of work per week
• Rate of €17.25 gross/hour + benefits  (weekly salary, approximately €515-525 net)
• Shift allowance:
  +5% on the first shift (approx. €18.11 gross/hour),
  +15% on the second shift (€19.84 gross/hour)
• Food voucher of €7.75/day (€1.09 – employee’s own contribution)
• Occasional overtime available (paid 150%)
• holiday bonus – over the year worked will amount to approximately €5,300 gross (15.38% of gross annual earnings)
• annual bonus – over the year worked will amount to approximately €2,870 gross (8.33% of gross annual earnings) – provided you work at least 65 days between July of the current year and June of the following year.
• possibility of using company accommodation – €130/week (double room), €160/week (single room)

• company cars are provided free of charge and equipped with Fuel card

  • Cars may only be used for commuting to and from work
  • It is also possible to rent a bicycle for a fee for commuting

Requirements:

• Several years of experience as a counterbalance forklift operator (heftruck)
• Experience operating silo systems is an advantage
• Valid counterbalance forklift certificate
• Willingness to attend a trial day and/or pass a practical test
• Good command of English
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• No fear of heights and ability to work at elevated positions
• Ability to calculate and monitor warehouse flow and stock movements
• Category B driving licence
• Own car is an advantage
• Willingness to complete an assessment test and participate in an interview process
