Job Responsibilities

• performing preventive and corrective maintenance of technical components (pumps, blowers) both on-site at the plant and at installations throughout Flanders
• quick and effective troubleshooting of technical faults in machines and installations
• conducting preventive maintenance
• analyzing and repairing faults and implementing permanent solutions to prevent future problems and breakdowns
• working on improvement and optimization projects
• adhering to applicable quality, environmental, and safety procedures

Required Skills

• employment under Belgian conditions
• monthly salary depending on experience from €2050 to €2570
• working hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• holiday allowance – can amount to approx. €4700 gross per year (15.38% of annual gross salary)
• annual bonus – can amount to approx. €2550 gross per year (8.33% of annual gross salary), provided a minimum of 65 working days between July of the current year and June of the next year

We offer

• minimum of two years of experience in a similar position
• technical education in electromechanics or a related field (mechanics/electrics/automation)
• knowledge of mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• good command of English
• no health contraindications for working in the metallurgical industry (exposure to dust, noise)
• stress resilience
• driving license
• VCA certificate is an asset, or willingness to obtain it
