Job Responsibilities

• actively assisting with loading and unloading vehicles during periods of increased workload
• checking the temperature of refrigerated and frozen shipments
• recording and monitoring temperature deviations
• carrying out stock checks and inventories
• inspecting goods for damage, quality and quantity
• conducting inspection rounds in the warehouse and loading areas
• reporting equipment defects (pallet trucks, loading docks, vehicles)
• checking loading docks and ensuring the correct assignment of docks
• starting and taking over the schedule at the beginning of the night shift (9:00 PM)
• monitoring and tracking scheduled routes and transport orders
• adjusting the schedule in case of changes, delays or emergencies
• managing and supporting drivers during nighttime operations
• real-time monitoring of shipments (tracking, ETAs, deviations)
• processing last-minute orders and urgent transport requests
• resolving operational issues (delays, incidents, absences)
• accurately recording trip data, deviations and reports
• providing a clear handover to the employee responsible for scheduling on the day shift
• working Sunday to Thursday, from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM

Required Skills

• experience in warehouse logistics or transport
• good command of English
• willingness to perform physical work (loading/unloading, inspections, moving goods)
• hands-on and proactive approach to work
• sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
• basic knowledge of logistics systems (knowledge of TMS is an advantage)
• ability to work under pressure and flexibility
• category B driving licence – mandatory
• own car – an advantage

• employment under Belgian terms and conditions
• gross salary: €17–20/hour + 12.5% shift allowance (approx. €19.13–22.50 gross/hour)
• estimated weekly net salary before accommodation deduction: €550–570
• guaranteed 38 hours of work per week
• possible overtime paid at 150%
• holiday allowance – 15.38% of annual gross earnings
• annual bonus – 8.33% of annual gross earnings, provided that at least 65 days are worked during the period from July of the current year to June of the following year
