Job Responsibilities

• Full analysis, evaluation, and interpretation of project contract documentation
• Planning and reviewing supplier and subcontractor enquiries
• Preparing accurate and competitive valuations within required deadlines
• Preparing and distributing contract documentation to the supply chain
• Reviewing changes to the scope of works and preparing valuations for variations and additional works
• Preparing and agreeing monthly progress claims
• Maintaining accurate records of submitted claims, issued certificates, and retention amounts
• Commercial and contractual control of subcontractor accounts
• Preparing and presenting monthly commercial project reports
• Analysing risks and providing management information
• Managing and forecasting project cash flow

Required Skills

• Higher education degree (Bachelor’s, Engineering, or Master’s degree) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience working as an Electrical Quantity Surveyor within the construction or M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) sector
• Experience working on large-scale projects such as data centres, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial, or commercial developments
• Comprehensive understanding of construction contracts
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methodologies, and commercial management principles
• Knowledge of contract forms such as NEC, FIDIC, JCT, or similar
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Good command of English – a mandatory requirement
