Responsibilities

• works related to the construction, repair and maintenance of railway surface
• securing the construction site and its surroundings with signs, warning lights, and detours
• installation and maintenance of rails, cross beams, ballast and railway equipment
• physical work: digging holes, laying concrete blocks with a crane, pulling cables, setting switches, filling with crushed stone (aggregate)
• working in day and night shifts

Wanted competences

•  min. one year of experience in the construction and maintenance of railway surfaces and subgrades

• communicative knowledge of English
• driving license category B and car
• strict compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• ability to work in a group
• ready to work also at night
• good physical fitness

we offer

• long-term employment on Belgian conditions
• rate: day €17.23 gross/h, night €38.76 gross/h, i.e. day shift approx. €470 net/week
• guaranteed 40 hours of work per week
• work on Saturdays and Sundays additionally paid: day Saturday 150%, day Sunday 200%, night Saturday 175%, night Sunday 225%
• holiday allowance – over the course of the year worked, it will amount to approximately €5,300 gross  (15.38% of gross annual earnings).
• annual bonus over the course of the year worked will amount to approximately € 2,870 gross (8.33% of annual gross earnings) provided that a minimum of 65 days of work is performed in the period from July of the current year to June of the following year.
• food vouchers 5.15€ gross/working day 
• possibility of using company accommodation: double room. – 99 € / week, single room. – 149€
• possibility to purchase additional health insurance (optional) – EUR 9 per month
