Job Responsibilities

• Coordinating and supervising the daily work of the warehouse team (warehouse workers and forklift operators)
• Onboarding, training, motivating and supporting the team members
• Acting as the first point of contact for operational questions and day-to-day issues
• Assigning tasks and set priorities within the team
• Active participation in order picking, loading and unloading goods, inventory management and preparing shipments
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Resolving day-to-day operational issues
• Ensuring efficient work allocation
• Monitoring work progress, quality and deadlines
• Cooperation with other departments to achieve logistics objectives
  Recording and reporting operational results and key information to the Warehouse Manager
• Fixed afternoon shift: 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m

Required Skills

• At least several years of experience in a team leadership role within logistics or warehousing
• Previous experience in an electronics warehouse would be an advantage
• Very good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Experience with WMS systems, barcode scanners and reporting tools would be an advantage
• Communicative English and a solid basic knowledge of Dutch
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Category B driving licence or willingness to commute by bicycle
• Own car is welcome

We offer

• Employment under Belgian terms and conditions
• Base salary: €21.00 gross/hour
• Shift allowance: +10% (approx. €23.10 gross/hour)
•  Guaranteed 38 working hours per week
• Weekly salary payments – estimated net salary before accommodation costs: approx. €570/week
• Overtime available – paid at 150%
• Meal vouchers worth €5.00 for each worked day (of which €1.09 is the employee contribution)
• Holiday allowance equal to 15.38% of annual gross earnings
• Annual bonus equal to 8.33% of annual gross earnings, provided you have worked at least 65 days between July of the current year and June of the following year
• Company accommodation available: double room: €130/week, single room: €160/week
