Scope of duties

• setting up and operating thermal spray equipment (arc, flame, and plasma spray equipment).
• preparing surfaces for coating (including cleaning and masking)
• ensuring proper mixing ratio and quality of coating materials
• inspecting coatings for adhesion, thickness, and quality
• maintaining equipment and performing routine service work
• reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• reporting to the production manager
• working hours 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Wanted competences

• technical education in a specialized field
• several years of experience in a similar position
• ability to read plans and technical drawings
• communicative knowledgeof English or French
• experience in the metallurgical industry
• accuracy, motivation and attention to quality of work
• willingness to work overtime
• flexibility
• resistance to stress
• work independently and in a team
• driving license category B

We offer

• employment based on an employment contract on Belgian terms

• salary 16.00€ – 23.00€ gross/h (depending on experience), i.e. 450-630€ net/week.

• guaranteed 39 h of work per week
• food voucher worth 7€ gross for each day worked (employee’s own contribution 1.09€)
• holiday allowance – gross (15.38% of annual gross earnings), i.e. 4920€ – 7070€ gross
• bonus annual – (8.33% of gross annual earnings), i.e. €2,665 – €3,800 gross – provided that you work at least 65 days in the period from July of the current year to June of the following year

• possibility of purchasing additional health insurance – €10 per month
