TIG pipeline fitter

Place of work: Dortmund, Germany

Accommodation: organized

  • prefabrication of piping systems in accordance with technical documentation
  • assembly of modules in accordance with technical drawings
  • preparation of molds for TIG tack welding
  • checking dimensions, marking and documenting components
  • interpretation of isometric drawings
  • checking and calibrating dimensions based on parts lists and technical drawings
  • calculating pipe lengths, diameters and control dimensions
  • positioning and welding of nozzles in accordance with ISO standards
  • work in a rotational system: 4 weeks of work/1 week off or the possibility of returning home every weekend (work from Monday to Friday)

  • several years of experience in welding pipelines made of black and stainless steel
  • ability to read isometric drawings
  • ability to tack weld using the TIG 141 method in the FM3 position (T=5.0 mm; D=48.3 mm)
  • knowledge of different pressure levels and types of flanges and connectors
  • independence in preparing pipelines for welding based on technical documentation
  • communicative knowledge of German – a necessary condition
  • welding qualifications 141, 135 and 111 in all FM positions
  • readiness for shift work
  • driving license category B

  • employment contract directly with the employer
  • gross rate: 20–28 €/h
  • monthly net salary: 2800–3700 €
  • salary payment in euros, according to the agreement, to a bank account
  • free, fully equipped accommodation
