Scope of duties

• warehouse work, such as receiving, storing and shipping goods, products and raw materials (screws, gaskets, flanges, cotter pins, cutting blades, drills, welding materials, chains, hoists, etc.)
• counting and carrying out inspections of incoming goods
• entering goods into the system
• ensuring the correct storage of incoming goods
• checking goods based on order lists from engineers, foremen on site who need products, people who need goods at the workplace  
• 75-85% of the time working on order picking and 5-10% driving a forklift (heftruck)
• compliance with  regulations and procedures (quality control of goods, inventory, counting, etc.)
• work in 2 shifts (5:00-13:15, 13:00-21:15)

Wanted competences

• experience in warehouse work in the technical industry, preferably in the metal sector
• education related to welding or the metal industry
• basic knowledge of welding and accessories
• experience and a certificate for a front-end truck (or willingness to obtain it)
• communicative knowledge of English, Dutch or French
• interest in the metal industry and all kinds of technical materials
• knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics is an additional advantage)
• willingness to do physical work
• punctuality and attention to order
• VCA certificate or willingness to obtain it
• driving license category B

• employment on Belgian terms
• guaranteed 40h per week
• rate €15-€16.50 gross/h
• shift allowance of 12.5%
• salary paid weekly (€493-559,  €535-582)
• possibility of moving to a permanent contract
• possibility of using accommodation  company salary 95€/week (double room)

  145€/week (single room)

• option to purchase additional health insurance – 9€ per month
• food voucher in the amount of 8€ for each day worked
• holiday bonus – 15.38% of gross annual earnings
• annual bonus – 8.33% of gross annual earnings – provided that at least 65 days are worked in the period from July of the current year to June of the following year
