Scope of responsibilities

• Performing thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical problems using diagnostic tools.
• Performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and tune-ups. Repairing or replacing faulty components, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and other critical vehicle parts.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems, including problems with sensors, ignition systems, and computer control units.
• Testing vehicles after repairs to ensure that problems have been resolved and that the vehicle meets safety and performance standards.
• Maintaining accurate repair records of parts used and services performed on each vehicle.
• Explaining vehicle problems and repair options to customers in a clear and professional manner, providing cost estimates, and answering any questions.
• Complying with all safety protocols and environmental regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your co-workers.
• Collaboration with other mechanics and service advisors to ensure excellent service and achieve workshop goals.
• Single shift work (Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, occasionally Saturdays – in exchange for a day off during the week)

Sought-after competences

· Minimum vocational education in the automotive field (mechanic, electromechanic, etc.)

· Experience working as a car mechanic

· Experience working with pneumatic systems, automotive electrical systems, and electromechanics

· Experience diagnosing vehicle faults

· Fluent English

· Category B driving license

· Accuracy and thoroughness

· Customer satisfaction orientation

· Ability to work in a team

· Own car preferred
