For our client – a Belgian logistics company that has been dealing with the storage and reloading of goods for 150 years in the field of handling products from the chemical, food, feed, steel and wood industries, we are looking for people willing to work for the position:

Job description:

• Delivery and storage of goods in the warehouse with the Reach Truck
  sideloader
• product/order/inventory control
• taking care of order in the warehouse
• shift work
• strict adherence to health and safety rules in the warehouse
• long-term employment

We offer:

• employment on Belgian conditions
• rate: €16.61 gross/h (salary paid weekly)
• shift allowances: +15% for night shift work
• food voucher in the amount of:€6.70   /day of work (€1.09 – employee’s own contribution)
• holiday allowance – on a yearly basis it will amount to approx. €3,000 gross (15.38% of annual gross earnings)
• annual bonus – on a yearly basis it will amount to approx. €2,000 gross (8.33% of annual gross earnings) – provided that a minimum of 65 days has been worked in the period from July of the current year to June of the following year< br>
• guaranteed 38 hours of work per week

Requirements:

• experience in working in the logistics industry, welcome in the chemical industry
• 1 year of experience as a front forklift operator required
• wanting to do more physical work
• current certificate for front forklifts
• good knowledge of English – a prerequisite
• knowledge of the specifics of transporting hazardous materials (as in the case of ADR). ADR certificate is not required.
