Scope of duties

• performing thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical problems using diagnostic tools
• performing routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and tune-ups repairing or replacing faulty components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and other critical vehicle parts
• diagnosing and repairing electrical problems, including problems with sensors, ignition systems, and computer control units
• testing vehicles after repairs to ensure that problems have been resolved and that the vehicle meets safety and performance standards
• keeping accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed on each vehicle
• explaining vehicle problems and repair options to customers in a clear and professional manner, providing cost estimates, and answering any questions
• following all safety protocols and environmental regulations, providing a safe work environment for yourself and your co-workers
• collaboration with other mechanics and service advisors to ensure excellent service and achieve workshop goals
• single shift work (Monday-Friday: 8:00-17:00, sometimes Saturdays – in exchange for a day off during the week)
