For our Client – a company from the metallurgical industry dealing in the production of reinforcing wire and welded mesh – we are looking for people willing to work in the position:

construction supervision, construction management, work coordination, pipeline installation, pipeline work, quality control, work schedule, construction safety, construction work, supervision of team, managing workers, planning works, installation works, materials management, pipeline inspection, construction documentation, progress control, earthworks, cooperation with engineers, assembly works

Scope of duties

  • loading/unloading using a gantry crane and forklift
  • controlling the operation of machines, reporting and removing failures
  • compliance with health and safety regulations
  • working in noise, dust (protective measures provided)
  • working in a single-shift system (7:00-15.45)

Wanted competences

  • experience in working with a gantry crane – a necessary condition
  • certificate and experience in working as a forklift operator – welcome
  • knowledge of English or Dutch at a communicative level
  • driving license category B
  • no health contraindications to lifting and working in the metallurgical industry (dust, noise)
  • readiness to perform hard physical work
  • resistance to stress

We offer

  • employment on Belgian terms
  • rate: €15.81 gross/h; after a month of work: €15.84 gross/h; after 3 months of work: €16.60 gross/h
  • salary paid weekly
  • guaranteed 39h of work per week
  • holiday bonus – over the year worked approx. €3,825 gross (15.38% of annual gross earnings)
  • annual bonus – over the year worked approx. €2,070 gross (8.33% of annual gross earnings) – provided that you work at least 65 days in the period from July of the current year to June of the following year
  • possibility of using company accommodation – €102/week (double room), €154/week (single room)
  • possibility of buying additional health insurance – 10 euros per month
