Maintenance mechanic (food industry)

What will your work look like?
- you will be responsible for ensuring the continuity of production by maintaining trouble-free and safe operation of the installation;
- you will troubleshoot and maintain three production lines and infrastructure within the production facility;
- you will work as a technical expert, working closely with your production colleagues to provide the required support and advice;
- you will launch and implement solutions in the field of efficiency, quality and production safety based on the analysis of the current situation;
Responsibilities:
- preparation of the entire fully automated production process – from kneading dough, rising, baking and freezing, to packaging bread;
- implementing production plans with the use of raw materials and machines, applying all applicable norms and standards of quality and safety;
- managing and motivating colleagues on the production line;
- operate machinery, troubleshoot and perform some preventive maintenance tasks under the guidance of a Mechanic/Maintenance Technician;
We offer:
- employment on Belgian terms
- rate from €18.37 gross/h
- work on the 1st and 2nd shifts or on a permanent night shift
- shift allowances: +€0.46/h for 1st shift work, +€0.52/h for 2nd shift work, +20% for night shift work
- Food voucher of €8.00 / working day
- holiday allowance – on the scale of the year worked, it will amount to approx. € 3,300 gross (15.38% of annual gross earnings)
- annual bonus – on the scale of the year worked, it will amount to approx. € 2,000 gross (8.33% of annual gross earnings) – provided that a minimum of 65 days has been worked in the period from July of the current year to June of the following year;
- guaranteed 38 hours of work per week
- help in completing formalities related to departure
- the care of the Polish coordinator
- the possibility of using company accommodation
- possibility to purchase additional health insurance
Requirements:
- secondary technical education and/or completed with a bachelor’s degree, specialization in the field of electricity or electromechanics (may also include automation, control techniques, pneumatics or hydraulics);
- good knowledge of French and communicative knowledge of English;
- high motivation and focus on the highest quality of work, accuracy;
- ability to solve problems, punctuality in reporting entrusted tasks;
- willingness to develop and participate in company technical training
- ready to work in a two-shift system (5:00 – 13:00 and 13:00 – 21:00) or a permanent night shift (21:00 – 5:00);
