For our client – a family company which is a manufacturer of own-brand ice cream for the Belgian and European markets – we are looking for people willing to work for the position:

Responsibilities

• preparation, commissioning and control of the production process.
• assembly, preparation for work and testing of the ice cream filling machine.
• monitoring the values indicated by measuring devices and verifying their compliance with the accepted standards.
• informing the shift manager about defects and irregularities in the operation of machines.
• reporting the progress of the shift to your supervisor.
• observance of safety rules prevailing on the premises of the plant.
• working a permanent night shift.

In-demand competencies

• communicative knowledge of English.
• experience as a production operator on production lines, preferred in the food sector.
• driver’s license category B or willingness to commute to work by bike.

we offer

• long-term employment on Belgian conditions, guaranteed 37.5 hours of work per week
• rate: €14.88 gross/h (salary paid weekly).
• shift allowances: morning shift+€0.52 gross/h, afternoon shift +€0.59 gross/h, night shift +€2.04 gross/h. 
• food voucher: €8.00 /day of work (€1.09 – employee’s own contribution – paid after 65 days of work 
• holiday allowance – approx. €4,175 gross per year (15.38% of annual gross earnings).
• annual bonus – approx. €2,262 gross per year (8.33% of annual gross earnings) – under
• condition of working a minimum of 65 days in the period from July of the current year to June of the following year.
• possibility to use company accommodation – 85 €/week (double room), 130 €/week (single room).
• possibility to purchase additional health insurance – 8.33€ per month.
