Scope of responsibilities

• Managing a team of warehouse workers, forklift operators, reach truck operators, and order pickers
• Supervising the processes of receiving, storing, picking, and shipping goods
• Actively participating in operational work as needed
• Reporting results and current status to the Warehouse Supervisor
• Monitoring compliance with health and safety and hygiene standards, responding to irregularities
• Supervising warehouse cleanliness and order, monitoring cleaning and waste management plans
• Planning team tasks, allocating responsibilities, and coordinating equipment (forklifts, EPTs, scanners, etc.)
• Making decisions regarding team work organization and vacation planning
• collaboration with the transportation, customer service, HR, and maintenance departments
• maintaining operational documentation and using WMS systems, scanners, Excel, and reporting tools
• participation in warehouse process improvement activities

• work in a two-shift system (6:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.)

Sought-after competences

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a logistics or production environment
• Team management experience (e.g., as a foreman or team leader)
• Knowledge of working in cold storage warehouses is a plus
• Very good knowledge of logistics processes and warehouse work
• Good command of English
• Ability to work in shifts
• Good physical condition and willingness to work in temperatures of -18°C
• Teamwork skills and stress tolerance
• Forklift and/or EPT license or willingness to obtain one

• Driving license Category B

• Employment under Belgian conditions (bediende contract)
• Salary: €20 gross/hour
• Supplement for working in cold weather: 10%
• Shift work supplement: 7.5%
• Guaranteed 38 hours of work per week
