Scope of duties

• performing MIG and TIG welding on a fleet of trucks
• repairing, modifying or fabricating metal parts and structures as required
• working from technical drawings
• setting up welding equipment and selecting appropriate welding techniques
• preparing and cleaning metal surfaces before and after welding
• monitoring the welding process and checking the quality of work performed
• working with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• strictly adhering to health and safety regulations
• after completion of welding tasks, performing regular maintenance and repairs to the trucks’ electrical refrigeration systems
• work in one shift 7.30-15.30

Wanted competences

• technical education
• several years of experience as a MIG, TIG welder
• communicative knowledge of English

• knowledge of various welding joint designs

• driving license category B
• ability to work in a group
• accuracy, good physical condition, manual dexterity and good eyesight

We offer

• long-term employment on Belgian terms
• guaranteed 38 hours of work per week
• rate: €19.57 – €20.52 gross/h (depending on experience), i.e. €500 – €520 net/week
• holiday bonus of 15.38% of gross annual earnings, i.e. €6250 – €6315 gross
• annual bonus – 8.33% of gross annual earnings (calculated after 65 days worked), i.e. €3260 – €3420 gross
• food voucher depending on length of service: 5€-8€/day at work (1.09€ own contribution)
