Responsibilities

• installation of the traction network
• performing maintenance, renovation and new construction works on the overhead contact line and related load-bearing and concrete structures
• assistance in works related to the installation of tracks and railway traffic lights
• working with safety measures in a team of specialists
• work during the day and at night, possibility of working on weekends

Wanted competences

• technical education in electrical, mechanical or electromechanical

• minimum one year of experience in a similar position in the railway industry

• communicative knowledge of English 
• readiness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• ability to work in a team
• communicativeness
• no contraindications to work at height
• category B driving license and a car – a necessary condition

we offer

• employment on Belgian conditions
• rate: day 17.23 € gross/h, night 38.76 € gross/h strong> 
• salary paid weekly approx. €470 net
• guaranteed 40 hours of work per week
• shift allowances for working at night and on weekends (night shift during the week – 125%, day shift on Saturday – 150%, day shift on Sunday – 200%, night shift on Saturday -175%, night shift on Sunday – 225%)
• annual bonus over the course of the year worked will amount to approximately € 2,870 gross (8.33% of annual gross earnings) –  provided that you work a minimum of 65 days in the period from July of the current year to June of the following year
• holiday allowance – over the course of the year worked, it will amount to approximately €5,300 gross  (15.38% of gross annual earnings).
• accommodation paid €149 (single room), €99 (double room)
• food voucher worth €5.15 gross for each day worked (employee’s own contribution €1.09)
• possibility to purchase additional health insurance (optional) – 9 euros per month
