Responsibilities

• work as a machine operator in the metallurgical industry in the production of reinforcing wire
• monitoring the production line to prevent wire breaks

• reacting to any machine failures in the event of a wire break, i.e. untangling the wires

• cutting the roll and removing rusty parts

• checking samples from the machine and reporting problems to the foreman

• śstrict adherence to safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. Employerwe provide comprehensive protective equipment, including hearing protection, safety glasses, coveralls, safety shoes and gloves. For safety reasons, jewelry is not allowed.

• work in the hall (there is dust, noise and increased temperature in the summer season)
• working in 2 shifts: 06.00-14.00, 14.00-22.00 or permanent shift at night 22.00-06.00

Wanted competences

• technical education – preferred
• experiencein working as a machine operator, welcome in the metal or construction industry

• communicative knowledge of English
• B category driving license
• readiness for physical work in a noisy and dusty environment

we offer

• long-term employment on Belgian conditions
• guaranteed 38 hours of work per week
• rate of €15.44 gross/h; + 10% (i.e. €16.98 gross/h) allowance for the morning and afternoon shift (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00) and +20% (i.e. €18.52 gross /h) night shift allowance. Salary paid weekly €440 – €480 net/week
• possibility of working overtime, paid +50%
• holiday allowance – per year approx. €4,750-5,695 gross (15.38% of annual gross earnings)
• annual bonus – per year worked approx. €2,570-3,085 gross (8.33% of annual gross earnings) – provided that you work a minimum of 65 days in the period from July of the current year to June of the following year
• possibility of using company accommodation – €99/week (double room), €149/week (single room)
• food stamps  €6 – for each working day (after 6 months of work). Employee’s own contribution €1.09
• possibility to purchase additional health insurance – EUR 9 per month
• the company is closed for the first 3 weeks of August (holiday period)
